With the new maps and changed old ones I was wondering wich people like at this time.

Personally I like Caged the most. the changes they have made has given a faster more versatile gameplay.
I played i game where aliens and marines where roughly evenly matched and everyone was just throwing everything they had at the others. Ha/hmg's downing onos and fades, being destroyed by groups of xenociding skulks, very intense. game lasted for about 1½ hour and was a great battle. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

Has anyone else had any good experinces with a perticular map?

    veil is a lovely map. and eclipse has had some nice changes. tanith i dont like as much (i miss the doors/lifts)

    other than that, maps are nicer, although hera is now so much easier for alien :/

    i'm in love with ns_veil. It's just greatness in the form of a .bsp file.

    As for the new eclipse, I don't like it as much as the old one, but it's still good.

    But mineshaft is keeping me entertained for now, although that said im liking all of the new maps, played mappers.

    actually, origin is the most visually appealing of the new maps in my opinion. I don't like the cramped marines start of mineshaft, but interestingly enough, that's usually the map I see marines win on.

    Mineshaft is nice, but whoever designed it hated the Onos. I get stuck in about 90 places on that map, and there's one part where you can't even get through a hallway while crouched. I had to run all the way around the map and attack from a different side.

    I'm not even sure I've seen all the changes, since I tend to play on the same servers at the same times, but so far, I'm liking Veil and Origin a lot.

    Mineshaft and Lost , I haven't played enough to form any kind of opinion on.

    Dunno, need more playing time to form any real opinions, but I do love new Hera, mainly due to a hilarious "Last Stand" on the landing pad...

    I like the one with the Bidome Hive (is that it with the plants and stuff)?
    And the other is the one where you can see space outside with all the purty stars. Again I don't know map name.
    I never know map names, just how much fun they are

    Heh, agreed mate, I'm terrible with names, I've been here since before 1.0 and I <i>still</i> get map names muddled up..I'm always going "Bast? that's the one with Feedwater hive innit? "
