<img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'> this picture isnt done yet. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'> when its ALL finished there is gonna be a marine kneeling in front of the onos. with a knife and hmg on the ground out of reach of the rine. ive been working on it for months now <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'> i finished a marine but then i didnt like it. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'> so im starting another one. getting the porportions and angle of the arms and legs right while he is kneeling is a b***h. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'> but anyhow, when thats all done im gonna make a background edit them into it and it shall be done. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'> but that might be awhile cause im working on more important graphics for our website, and my onos needs to wait. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'> ill make sure to post it when its all done.

i could do the foot on a dead heavy. with a few changes to the onos. i a differant angle to the head... then of course a dead heavy. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'> maybe ill do that next. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'>

i looked at alot of differant onos veiws and pictures to learn the textures and how to get the posture of the onos to the way i wanted it. then i went to work with getting the shape of the onos.when i got the basic shape perfect. i went to work on the colours and textures i got an onos picture and eyedrop the colours so i could make sure the colours where more correct. then i examined the texture of the skin and markings and added those in. using various tools. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'> it took a long while to get it perfect. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'> you can do anything by doing --->. alot of zooming in. alot of <b>pixel by pixel</b> work and a whole lot of time. and alot of observance on the various colours of the onos. and changing the shades of the colours often. to get the more real picture perfect look. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'>

with this picture done i can use the textures on other onos pictures this sets the stage for alot of differant onos i can do. i might make a few more onos in the near future. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'>

It looks good, but my only problem is that it does not look very clear, sharp if you will. But then again, it might look better with a background.

actually you are right the resolution is very poor. cause it went through alot of sizings, namely, "shrinkings". my other draft looks better. and with a background the picture would look better also.

i did added some more details to the face just now. and i angled the back leg just a bit differant to make it look like he is using more back leg power. the angle is a bit off on the leg. namely the postion the foot and knee is in. ill fix that when i get back. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'>

im a cynical ****, but it looks a lot like you either - 1. took the onos .mdl and exported it into a raytracing program, and then added acouple of lights orr - 2. took some screenies of onoses and manipulated em a bit. *cough* I mean good on you if you actually handrendered that but err I mean I've seen screenshots that looked clearer. >.>

Actually, I'd love to see a Onos standing on a heavy pointing his HMG at him for a wallpaper. Especially with your work, it'd look...well, lets just say someone would have to put a lot of work into their thing to get yours off.

i made a picture of an onos for 2.0... it is constipated... the marine is almost 95% out of his butt, but he head is stuck in, and the onos has his head raised, his mouth open to the heavens saying GODD*MN THIS HURTS!
