just be carefull what servers you join and who you play with. The players seem to have ... less then average intelligence ...

And for gods sake, play the game how it was ment to be played. Leave your 1337 CS skillz at home and play like a team for once damn it!

lol.Didnt know this was already posted i havent been watching the off topic forum in a while. Oh and i also have a router and am trying to figure out how to get rid of the firewall like thing but it doesnt prohibit me from playing any online games.Do you have Linksys?

I've got a fairly nasty router and have had no problems with AA:O so far. Most of the servers I managed to join have been full of pretty decent people, only the occasional ###hole teammate that decides to bounce a grenade off my helmet. I'm looking forward to the sniper school addon, should be out anyday now.

Well if you had a linksys router i could help you. All you have to do is go to your internet explorer and type <a href="http://192.168.1.100" target="_blank">http://192.168.1.100</a> and the password should be admin no username then go to DHCP and type in your real ip.That should do the trick if not try looking at status and stuff and make sure nothing important is disabled.Btw i only play on Bridge servers and i only play on the #1 official west server. ps.If the above url doesnt work try typing the last 3 numbers as 101 instead of 100. (edit) dont try going to that url above it wont work just type it in internet explorer (edit)

I have a linksys too. If you ever want to run a server, or a game is giving you trouble joining or finding games, you need to go to the advanced tab, under forwarding, you type in the port the game uses, for instance, HL uses the port "27015". If you only need one port, you type in 27015 in both boxes for the service port range, set protocol to both, set IP adress to 192.168.1.100, but only if the router is only servicing once computer. You have to check the DCHP clients table, in the DHCP tab, to see what your computers IP adress is. It will always be "192.168.1.1xx". the xx changes, starting at 00 and goes up from there, like 00, 01, 02, 03, etc

I have managed to actually play America's Army twice, and came away both times severely unimpressed. The damage system, at least in the MOUT McKenna level, was way off. It took me at least a 20 rounds point blank to kill an enemy soldier in the church. And noone knew how to capture the buildings on my team, so the other team won every round.

I actually just uninstalled AA... after the lackluster SP training levels, I was unable to get online to a MOUT training server... and weeks later, I realized I'd just lost interest. S&I and NS are enough for me.

oh cmon give it another try i thought the same thing until i finally graduated Mout mckenna after my first game at about 3: 00 am in the morning (when it was easy to get authorized)Then i thought it was stupid with the lack of teamwork and the training guns (after all it was centered around teamwork)But then when i joined a bridge level i got hooked for some reason and now its all i can play until NS.Oh please be out soon......
