The alien Res system sucks in 2.0 . I have now played many rounds and you only have a chance as alien if at least 4 or more aliens go gorge at start and build a res. But here is the problem most of the pub player are egoistic and say why should i spent my 25 start res.Then there is another problem. where is the activation Time for the Marine RT´s <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->? The Marines run of the base at start and build every rt they could find and after that they go rambo on alien rt´s and electrify their own. It took 2 skulks and 1 gorge (and its hard to motivate 2 other players to do so) to effectly take out one of those elec res and many many time if the gorge as no Adrenaline upgrade. And another problem is that gorge get res to slow to effectly defend any postion on the map with Of and def chamber. Ok i know that aliens get res when the kill but most people collect that res to evolve into higher lifeforms and not to help their team as gorge. As a fulltime gorge you have a problem. But giving the gorge more res is not the solution because then everybody turns into a gorge to get more res for evolve. THERE MUST BE DONE SOMETHING.
Over 70 % of the Game´s i played was won by the Marines because they have not so much problems with the res. A good solution would be to lower the res collection of the Marines.

I don't understand why everyone is constantly whining about this the new beta when they've been playing it for two days.
Alien's have the early advantage of expanding anywhere before the marines can.
Resource's had to be slowed down so multiple Gorge's could be viable..
Have you tried playing on commander later? It costs 30 resource's to electrify a nozzle, I'd rather let it die, build another then electrify.
Resource's are ALWAYS slower on marines then on aliens, alien's have the huge advantage on small games (6v6 and less).
Play the game on both marine's and alien's and you'll find that the game is perfectly balanced.

Beautiful plan! Wish I could do this with every balance post made this early into the 2.0 release.

Another quick note, there is no start time for res activation, flayra said it was pulled towards the end to make the game more fun.
