I just had the ultimate nightmare...
Yes, this is related to NS, so don't phase it to off-topic. I had a nightmare last (tuesday) night about 2.0 (yes I know, very sad...).
I dreamed that I turned my computer on..... and it didn't work!!!
I KNEW 2.0 had been released, but I couldn't download it because my computer wouldn't even start windows. Every time I restarted I got the same error (no, I don't know what the error was).
Then, in the same night I had ANOTHER nightmare. This time, NS downloaded fine, and installed fine, but when I tried to start it, it got an illegal operation error! I can tell where my subconcious got that from; NS used to give me illegal operations but it turned out to be a corrupted version of Cheating Death causing the problem (took me 4 weeks with no ns to find that out).
Well now of course I terrified to touch my computer before Thursday in case it gets borked for whatever reason. But then, i'm on it now, so I guess I can't be that terrified...
In reality if my computer DID break for whatever reason, I would just play 2.0 on my parent's computer which is slower (800mhz = 20-30 fps), but does tend to screw up less.
Lately my computer has tended to crash as much as possible. On everything. I was playing UFO- Enemy unknown, an old DOS game, and it crashed on that!
But anyways, I just had to share this with you all, and though we should have a group prayer to the god of NS (i.e, Flayra) that no NS player's computer (no, not even the n00bies) shall crash until they have enjoyed NS 2.0 to it's fullest.
And maybe we could sacrifice Smart_Bomb to Flayra to appease him (joking, feel free to delete this line if you feel it is inapropriate)
