-fool-, you just made all sorts of philosophers roll over in their grave with that logic.
thats the reason why i pointed it out. why would it have a page if there is no intention of it coming retail?

It would appear that Gamespot are just trying to get ahead of everyone. If NS +does+ go retail, Gamespot can sit there and say "yeah, we had a page for this AGES ago".
This is in no way a definate decision on NS going retail whatsoever. So if you believe that, sorry, for the time being it's false information.
I think I just heard Socrates choke up his hemlock. (Taking Philo 1 now in college, i felt I had the right to say that <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> ).
There isn't really any reason for NS not to go retail, really. There are plenty of things stopping it in the short run, but unless Flay falls off the planet we'll probably see it at some point.
*boggles* I'm sure that didn't come out right. Gamespot covers retail games because their users, they believe, are interested in retail games, and retail games rake in advertising and subscriptions and all that shiznitz... Not directly because it costs money or bandwidth, a far greater cost for a minor page addition is the human effort to gather the data for the game.
