    Just a thought, but would the cloaked objects seen while spectating be fully visible like non-cloaked players/objects? If that is the way it is, then it would seem to me that it would look better if the cloaked entities were slightly semi-transparent, like low-level cloaked players were in previous versions. This way you could tell if an object were cloaked or not while spectating.

    Anyone have any comments on this?

    In 2.0 from an alien point of view if your teammate is cloaked they show as partially visible but to a marine its completely invisible cept under certain conditions like sitting on the steam from a res node you can be seen slightly so as a spec they look partially invisible. I'm about to update with the "final" changes besides bugs and vac + minimap.

    Some features may be added, and existing features may be changed/removed. Of course I'm probably wrong, but it's the best guess I can think of.

    Wouldn't adding new stuff or changing key feature at this late phase of the game defeat the purpose of the thoudands of hours of debugging and playtesting? <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo--> And won't sayhing that encourage more "Give onos jetapks in 2.0 so tehy can hovar without flaping!!1" suggestions?

    That'll do what you want... just chuck the changelog in the changelog.txt file. nl2br conversts new line characters to

    There are a lot of major errors in this changelog and it would only take 5 minutes for you to go through it and remove them if you wouldn't mind. These errors include:

    O Valve Anti-Cheat Now Supported.
    O It now takes 60 seconds before any resource tower (besides the one at round start) starts giving resources for the team.
    O Removed last momentum given to players with hit with various attacks (notably, skulks don't ever knock marines back any more, die bug die). <i>- This is still really bad at times, I've seen a marine fly 10 feet when he got bitten in mid-jump.</i>
    O Umbra duration lowered from 10 to 6 (to try to allow marines a chance to rush early and to workaround problem where particles disappeared before umbra effect). <i>- It's actually 3 seconds now.</i>
    O Hive now emits umbra around spawning players (to lessen spawn camping).
    O Redemption no longer redeems dead players. Redeem now will pull you back to a hive, even if you're close to it (better then dying). <i>- I've seen aliens redeem and then die at the hive many times.</i>

    I've probly missed a load, if you just spend a few minutes scrolling through it I'm sure you'll find more, I would really appreciate it and I'm sure everyone else would too.

    WTH... wait a minute let me check the copy i have on my hd... i may not have updated the one in beta info with the copy i have. and as for vac the PTs and Vets didnt even know it wasnt in till release.

    Yes I put the spawn umbra and the activation time changes up at the top. I'm gonna have to look into the push thing. If a marine is killed midair the midair animation automatically throws the marine back I beleive. And yes I've seen ppl redeem and die too. I think It might be due to lag between when someone fired a last shot and when the person redeemed. ex. at the moment the person sent the command to fire in the time between when the client sent the shot and the server received the shot the alien redeemed but the server says was so & so at this point at the time the client sent the shot and it was yes then it sends the dmg along to the alien even though they have redeemed. dang lag compensation.
