<div class="IPBDescription">progress bar?</div> i read that the marines health slowly decreases, and onos gets health back, why didn't they make it so that you just took 3damage/sec while being digested. in the trailer you can't see your health or anything and just get a progress bar. currently in 1.04 something only happens when you start or end that bar thingy(evolve,weld). so what i'm asking is that if the onos dies just before the bar finished would the marine come out with verylow hp?

Firstly, that trailer was made quite a while ago and that isn't what being devoured looks like any more. Secondly, yes if you are released just before you were about to die you have very low hp.

I really hate that progress bar, it looks cheesy when your an alien in gestation and it looks cheezier there.

K, one more question...

If you are devoured with 20 health, does the progress bar fly by, since the digestion would not take as long? Or is the damage toned down, so the digestion always takes the same amount of time.

2 questions:

1- I sure as hell hope that you cant "F4" out of a onos's belly, that would totaly destroy the purpose of the attack: "keeping a marine out of the game for a moment"

2- I heard somewhere that devour ain't like whats in the trailer, Its more elaborate now...I sure hope so...is it? <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'>

Who told you this? That's the same devour screen as in the RC. Stop the liez.

And for the guy above me, no you can't F4 or suicide while in the onos' belly. Devour is just run up to someone, aim, and click. If they're jumping around tho, its gets harder.

Well, we all know how marines always hide in order to be the last one killed when the game is obviously over. Onos belly is just a new hiding place! Grab some HA and hop in, see how long you can last! At least spores can't get you there!

When IP is gone, any players being digested are considered 'dead' by the game. So if the last marine is being digested, the round ends.
