If you feel really down then PM me. I don't pretend to offer any solutions or even decent advice, but I can cetainly truly listen to you and act as a friend. I don't know where you live, but I have about 3 American people I made friends with online and I call them a lot, so I could certainly phone you if you wanted someone to pour your troubles to...

Thanks for all your posts (most of you), at least the NS forums never let me down!
In case anyone's wondering, my computer problems have sorted themselves out(although I'm still not sure why IE stopped working, I do use opera now), and although the trouble with my girlfriend is going to be lasting for a while, I'm starting to get resigned to the fact that whatever happens happens and I really have no control over what happens. I'm still sore though. My knees hurt! Owie! I need sleep!
Cure for most things pain related (at least for me): Ice cold water. Drunk slowly, it cures many painful thingies, such as headaches and stuff - at least for me. Make sure it is good water though.
It also happens to cure stomach cramps a bit (from my experience) - I think this is due to part of the stomach being numbed a bit by the cold or something. I don't know - but it works (at least for me).
I've had days like that before. When it gets really bad, I get very anxious and angry at the same time.
However I try to relax and always think it could've been much much worse. Like after my car was towed not 10 minutes before I was going to leave anyways (at first I thought it was stolen, !Anxiety Attack!). Then having a friend drive me down from his house to the towing place at 2am so that I can find out that I needed my dad to get the car (cause on paper he's the legal owner, and they wanted the legal owner to claim it) later the next day, and he was not too happy. I had to pay $230 (of which I barely had at the time) to get my car out. However, it could've been stolen and I'd never get it, or the stuff in it, back.
I learned to avoid choices that could lead to these kinds of outcomes, and should something that has become out of my control happen, to either find out what I can do to bring it back under control or, failing that, wait and see what the outcome will be.

Would you like to be the diseased, blind, pained, dying African child in a 3rd world country that has to raid the local ant hills for a "decent" dinner once a week? Of course you wouldn't, and I don't hear HIM complaining about absence of subtitles for his non existant anime. Get over it, it's called life. Count your blessings and put on a happy face.
Ok, maybe that did sound a little unsympathetic, and if it hurt anyone with irreparable emotional damage, I apologize to them and will pay for any outstanding therapy bills if needbe.
And you're right, of course every human, including me, has said (in your words) "gah life sucks", but instead of whining about it and dwelling on it for an extended amount of time, I just say, "Hey, it could be a lot worse", think about the other nasty alternatives, look at all the positives I have, and go on...which was the round about lesson that I was trying to get across in the first post, although it may not have looked like it...
allyurhive - try a reinstall of IE, OR simply try rebooting your computer and leaving it off for a little bit. It might also be worth downloadng a few patches and stuff off the windows update site - they might also fix the bugs you are having.
Ah... I'm glad I don't believe in one/several god(s), it is practically impossible to get to thinking the world has it in for me no matter how bad things are going .
allyourhive, TS is a very relaxing mod if your feeling down as has been mentioned. Senseless computer violence seems to help quite a lot... as do music. Of course there are other things like overeating and stress balls etc, but I wouldn't recommend it

God is only testing us, us Christians believe.
And Torgo, sadly, while you may be right, there is a little thing called "Perception". See, those people in Africa? Ya, they don't know what a computer is. I doubt they know what blood does, what AIDS does, or anything like that. So essentially, their just as bad off as us. They just happen to have a lot more deaths. But they've grown up with that. They're used to it by now. They have their good days-no one they know dying. Their bad days-someone they know dying. But there is always someone dying, so to them, its a big deal, just not as much as it would be over here. Our personal feeling, aka, HOW WE FEEL during a bad day, is identical to how they feel during their bad day. Perception is what keeps it all in check.

Lets go play some NS.

BTW are you on windows xp allyurhive?
Sadly, yes.
