otoh, i WONT miss elitist **** (read: clannies) and their "you cant be a gorge" ****. Now more gorge == good. Now aliens will actually be able to get res towers early in the game.
I looking forward to learning all the nuances of the new maps. The first week will truly be interesting as everyone begins to learn the ins and outs together.
I can't say I'll miss most of the alien abilities, because I never played that much as alien.
Eclipse was my favorite map. I hope they don't hurt it too hard.
Aliens cant use phase gate (that was so fun and meant commander couldnt palce it any old where and had to deefnd it, seems to be 'dumbing' down to me)

Gorge Limit, seems wrong to me that skulks and other lifeforms can get mroe res easier than the gorge. I always thought of the gorge as the builder and so should get more res. I dont think its right to be able to have multiple gorges some of the skill element ehre has been remvoed too imo.
babblers, nancy, getting alien team mates and enemies stuck with OCs/CCs, spamming chuckle, sniping annoying lerks within 1 second with a pistol and a fast finger, having 8 aliens chase you and kill a hive single handedly.....
