I was thinking of guilmon from season 3 for the aliens.
Something like this:
Skulk : Guilmon
Lerk : Guilmon + wings
Fade : Wargrowlmon (blades on arms)
Onos : Pos Guilmons Ultimat virus form
Gorge : Calomon
or varius models such as
Skulk - Some other sml digimon
Lerk - Teriermon
Fade - Renamon (because she disapears all the time [Blinking] )
Onos - That big bull thing (one of the devas)
Gorge - Calomon again
I know how to model on 3Dmax, but adding bones and animating i cant do yet. But Ill give it a try if no one else is willing.
Just need ideas and help. Such as for the Alien buildings and marines/buildings.
Or if anyone want me to do models from the other series, then dont hesitate to ask.

The lerk will just be Guilmon with wings, Onos is Guilmons ultimate virus form and Gorge will be calumon.

If you want me to do any of the other seasons then suggest something, Anything. Or if you want to help.
Anyways, I think that might be quite nifty! Gotta have a Garugumon or something though, I dunno the names of gigimon very well cause I dont watch it much. But I wanna see there Werewolf-mon in his 2-legged form (without the armor)
And heres an idea. Has anyone thought of a Monster Rancher mod yet? Tiger for Skulk!

I was thinking of just going for one digimon and its evolutions. I think one of my first ideas had Garugumon, i think.
Im a little sketchy on the first seasons names. Is it this one you where thinking of:

I couldent find any good pics in my own personal archive, but I did a search online and found this for an example for you.
And yes, the name is Garurumon.
Also, I re-read some posts and TOTALY agree for Renomon as a Fade!Remember the big fluffy tail! But dont let it suffer from clitting problems.
So heres the reasons why Garurumon would be batter as a Skulk:
1) Skulk and Garurumon are 4-legged. It works.
2) Big gnashy teeth! Rar! Its what Skulks do best!
And thats another good Karbriner pic. =3 Den is awsome.
And Monster Rancher, mmmmm, Tiger, so yiffy..... But, what would we put for the other units? Maybe the Robot guys for Fades. Har-something (Its been so long since I've played MR... and I hated MR3. I hope MR4 will be much better, more like 1 and 2.... Doupt it though. =p)

Nevermind I always think of the male RenOmons created by Fennec, and not Renamon. =D
Too bad -nothing- in my Fennec folder is suttable for this public forum. =3
And annoyingly youv got me thinking of Monster Rancher.
Garurumon is something to think about. Just having one digimon evolutions wont work well.
So how about:
Skulk - Garurumon
Lerk - ?? Sugestions ??
Fade - Wargrolmon (first pic i posted on pg1)
Onos - Quebimon
Gorge - ??
Now someone said theyd model but they've not posted anything since. Im gonna have a go if i can get 3Dmax working, but i would like some help and if possible someone to start on one of the other models, Im gonna start on the fade cause i like that one the most.
i dont know if you just want garurumon or his evolution ¬ It would be a lot easier to model.
I think the non-metalic Garurumon would be better suited for a NS envitonment. Dont want it to look too Toony either. It'd just look weird next to Marines if it did.
What to do about Lerks is a good question. I never saw much of the digimon serise. I know it much more as the little Tamagotchi things of old.
Same goes with Monster Rancher. I only saw a couple episodes of the TV show, and am MUCH more familiar with the gmaes that the show was baised off of. (I have[had] over 100 years clocked in my MR1 file. Think I might have lost it though...)
And heres a question for you. where are you getting all theis Digimon pics by Den? I dont think I've ever seen them in his VCL archive.
Hopefully the models will be darkened to help them to fit into the game, but they are from a cartoon so its hard to make them look any other way.
Dont know what Cowboy Bebop is so stuff that, im sticking with digimon. Then if that fails ill try Monster Rancher(at some point).

I have ideas on the lerk so if know one has any ideas then ill go with those. The real problem is the Gorge, does anything look small and remotly like a gorge?
Also ive thought of an idea for the marines. Replace them with some robot digimon. Their weapons can be a different arm to stick on. And HA is just digivolving to a better machine digimon. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo--> But i think im just getting ahead of myself so that can go on the back burner for now.
and... in terms of anime...
i'll just be happy to mow anything down with my Jin-Roh panzer cops and Goku's magnificent MG42 hmg.

Im getting ideas and sugestions but im a bit short on advise for modeling. Along with someone to try modeling one for me. One person said they do one but hasnt said anything since then.
Im not that good a modeler. I find 3D Max easy but i havent got that working, currently trying Milkshake3D but its just feels weird after using Max.

While looking ferther at that site I found a great referance pic by Den for Garurumon! Its got all his evolutions on it. Ooooh, and heres something clever I just tohught of. If you wanna try and make a mod with mostly Garurumon evelutions, it'd be cool to make the 'Egg' model one of his 'Jell' forms! See the small blob0like versions of him at the bottom? Here 'tis:
