    Forums are a difficult thing

    One may or may not be able to express his thoughts to the fullest, and doesn't know how another person will read his post. It might sound aggressive, degrading, down right arrogant without the poster even knowing.
    One might be in a bad mood or very tired, or whatever.

    Communication is based on visual body language for about 80ish percent, that's why things can come across very differently through messaging programs or forums.
