Now that all the features for NS 2.0 are pretty much in place, has the dev team given any thought to what they plan to put into the next version? I was hoping to see a few new gameplay types <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=Search&CODE=show&searchid=3702b28cd3de8b6f14ef393afa0bf755&search_in=posts&result_type=topics&highlite=game+types' target='_blank'>(examples)</a> and a few new marine weapons and/or structures (flamethrower!?!?).

I also hope Flayra does experiment with "recoil", like he hinted he might (somewhere on the BI board). Not "proper" recoil, mind you, just increased accuracy if you time your shots instead of sprayin' and prayin'.

Then after he gets his relax time, he gets back to making this game into his baby and add all the ideas that weren't ready for 2.0

You have to admit, though, it does make a convincing mouse...
Personally, I'd love to see NS on HL2, but wouldn't it take ages to transfer everything across? Once NS is "finished", it'd be great if it was ported over. That'd give Flay something to do. No rest for the wicked! >:D

The abbreviated version of "dammnation" is filtered out, but the proper word isn't. Hmmm.
Of course this still doesn't mean that it's easy to do...but at least mod makers won't have to start from square one.
