Running As A Skulk

<div class="IPBDescription">Ever have this happen?</div> Ok, well. It was on one of my Favorite maps ns_nothing! The usual marine relocation and the usual alien counter, that usually fails.

Well, we all ran to cargo...And just as we all guessed they were there and building, but they did not see/hear us. We decided to make a rush. right when they were all getting ammo. This was foiled by our own, well stupidity I guess...We all ran at the same time all bunched up. So some were on top of others running, making it slower and having a lag feel to it. And...were quickly killed, from what seems to be a modle bug? But I am not sure.

I was curious is this suppose to happen? It has gotten me killed several times when a team mate gets to close and basically grabs my back and slows me down.

I am not sure if this has been ... talked about. But i think it needs to be changed. It kind of messes up a rush for aliens... <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

With all of that what are your thoughts/opinions. <!--emo&::lerk::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/lerk.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='lerk.gif'><!--endemo-->

    This is an effect caused by movement prediction, that occurs anytime client side prediction is overruled by an event on the server. Such as 1 skulk running into another skulk.

    There is no real 'fix' for this, you will find it in all online shooters that have movement prediction (90% of them). The effect is less if you have a low ping, and almost non-existant on a LAN.

    Well that is...not cool hehe. I remember it was like that in BF1942 at one time, but was fixed. Well, thanks for the replies.
