Actually, maps are suppost to already include the new features making them compatible with 2.0 but they dont need them in version 1.0.
Half the models on this board are already converted from other mods. Now you're just converting again from "old ns" to "new ns".
People on this board scare me sometimes, I've seen fuzzy logic but this is just... gragh...
Updating anims is a five-minute job. There's no reason at all to "stop modeling" because NS2.0 is around the corner. Just retool and keep with what you have.

Like Jaeger said, it's not <i>that</i> big a deal to recompile a few models here and there.
My biggest 2.0 concern is downloading the thing on a 56k modem...
