Port problems

<div class="IPBDescription">*sigh*</div>Hi, Im having some problem with my ports !  <!--emo&???--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'><!--endemo-->

When I go to this site <a href="https://grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2" target="_blank">Port Checkin' Thingy</a> It says all my ports are closed excpet one the 113 port. I have had a NAT-Box installed but I didn't like it so I removed it. Now my ports are closed before I got this router almost all my ports were open.

Im having 2 Network cards in my machine one leading from modem to comp. and from comp. to Hub that shares with other comps.

Ermm this is just about it I can come up with right now .. would be very gratefull if someone could help me with my problem.

    On that website in their <a href="http://grc.com/faq-shieldsup.htm#IDENT" target="_blank">FAQ Type thing</a> there is a question, "Why isn't my Port 113 stealthed?"

    I don't know if that will help or not but I thought I'd say.

    I've just done that port scanner thing, and it shows that my FTP port (21) is OPEN while everything else is closed. I'm running a firewall/adsl router. I'm not running a server or anything, should I be worried about this?

    Yes, you should be very worried if ftp is open D:

    Make sure you had closed everything you knew that was running.

    If you still can't find the open ftp port just try connecting to your computer with an ftp client.

    It say I'm clean, but I'm behind a router so it wasn't a true test, he tested the router which of coarse doesn't have any ports on it's own. The best way to crack me would probably be writing a program that sends the data along side the info coming from the server.
