I agree that sometimes Jamil is too cynical. I also beleive he's right this time. If this gun's v_model is as huge as you say it is, there is no way anyone could use it and not be completely blindsided. The entire right side of the screen! Geez...

/medislikes the CPU fans. There are much better ways to cool off guns, although I don't know **** about them. I think.

Yeah, it's gonna block alot.

For that reason, alot of people don't like "shouldered" v models.

But whatever floats your boat.

No need to start over, heheh. What you have now is pretty consistent to the chibi-Killstick. The one Ed used was a special custom model suited for sniping at extended ranges (800m+, iirc).

I absolutely CANNOT wait for that. My god, my dream HMG. Who cares if it takes up alot, the HMG is made primarily for takedown of buildings(by me, anyways), so I'm fine with that! NTM that I have headphoes, so I can more or less 'see' whats to my right anyway!

that part on the side of the gun, i dont think that goes all the way thru the gun, pretty sure its just a heatsink and fan sitting on the side.

I have one request, for the reload animation, we should have the person bring it all the way down, and reload in the back part. I would imagine it would take a while for that reload, hopefully, matching it up with the correct reload time.

I think the easiest reload animation would be for the person to lift the foregrip upwards so that the barrel is pointing straight up into the sky. Now, the magazine is forward and easily accessable underneath your arm

Burncycle, the marines are not beasts with three thousand pound arms. It would take an army of migits to reload the thing.

I think that he/she should flip the gun foward, and under the arm. Then use his/her left hand to hold it there and his/her right hand to reload it. Flip it back up and your done. Its a good seven seconds I think of the default HMG reload time, so you should be able to do it. Just make it look like the model is having trouble reloading it, because of its weight. OH OH!!! And make steam come out of the back of the gun when she takes the clip out that would be SOOOOO cool!!!

Next time, put a pic of it in 1st person, modelview, and reference, and tell us what it is, and then we would have had it, and loved it!

Also, archive all your works. Its just a good idea.
