i played at this tothpick server, they and many other servers now install a plugin that makes umbra when u spawn as alien...
anyway me and my fellow marines take a couple of HA, HMG and welders and decided to take a walk to the hive, we are a bit trigger happy so we started to shoot the ugly thing and all the foul beasts. but we got slaugheted because of the 3 hives nearby and 8 dc and umbra everywhere.. no lerks to be seen thou...

pritty patethic how u change the whole game with an plugin, these servers should be put down... also i just wanna mention the clan [TUKTA] and a guy [TUKTA]MovingTarget, he thinks its ok to bug exploit from the com chair and build stuff where we arent sopposed to reach... eventually i got in the com chair and sold everything and wasted it on com chairs, 350res ^_^

and btw why does all the lame idiot cheaters have high ids? mine i 4 chars long.. ^_^

Almost 400 servers out there, and you have to pick the one that you don't like.

I may have a solution for you, it's a bit of a stretch on the imagination, but I have all the confidence in the world that you can accept this challenge...

Go to a different server.

btw, hive does umbra in 2.0, and as far as i know they renamed it from 1.0 since the game was so totaly different, so saying that the hive does umbra in 2.0 and therefor its good to use it in 1.0 is... err wrong

The issue is not the umbra-plugin here. The issue at hand is the fact that on ns_siege006 the comm, one of the TUKTA-admins, built on the upper level right from the start. Unless there is a feature on that map or a plugin on that server that allows this, i assume he was exploiting a bug.

So drop the sarcasm about the umbra-plugin and all that other nonsense. Focus on the fact that some of the admins on the server cheat.

And just to clarify; yes I am biased, since i play in the same clan as .strife, but I was also on the TUKTA server for that game. Some of the things done and said by the admins should simply never happen, especially not on a server that claims not to want any newbies playing.

just saying that the no-newbs thing is to keep people in the community in keeping out the people who havnt signed up on, and the simple fact is that if you dont like the server, dont play there ? afaik the admining is fine there (btw i am one) and sometimes we do have some fun on the servers but we ask everyone if its ok, and if an admin is unfair, u can trust me down to the very last word that the Matz would slaughter them <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'>

OMW, strife did you not have anything better to do with your time, than try to put down a NS server, that many people enjoy.

FIRSTLY:
What gives you the right to criticise a server that you chose to play on anyway. you could have left at any time.

SECONDLY:
if you had a problem with the way an admin was acting, why didnt you complain to the head admin, on our IRC channel.

THIRDLY:
dont play on our server ever again. we specifically ask for no n00bs, so why did you join the server in the first place? if i was on the server i would have followed the rules and kicked you.
