    Not very original, but ok. Some very good photoshoping there. One thing is the english, is is very bad <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> You didn't have any problems witht the spelling but the grammar was a little off.

    Wow... A marine named O'Reilly.. Guess I wasn't that creative now, was I?

    I suppose it's pretty good.. A bit sketchy in places, but a definite A for effort, this was worth the view. If I was to write something in another language then I would have a lot more than "ammos" wrong.

    Woot! I would like to see more drawings though..

    I have to agree w/other posts. I'm glad I'm not the only one who laughed at ammos. At first I thought he was tryn to portray a "elite" marine or something but then I figured it out. Lots of nice angles and effects and very well put together.

    I feel it's not so much the grammar that needs correcting. While it does need editing, English isn't his/her first language, so it's excusable.

    I feel that it's the terminoligy that needs updating, such as ammo being referred to as "ammos". Using "ammunition" would be more "marine-like", or maybe magazine or clip. Who knows. Also, the dropship being referred to as "plane", i feel this is grossly incorrect. This could just be me, but it bothers me slightly.

    This made me think, If some one made a demo for an NS trailer (note: this shoulda been before ns relase :/) anyway, make a trailer something like a story, Where you didn't see much of the aliens, but you saw alot of marines getting killed, best to show as alittle of the alien as possible :/ but o well. the NS trailer was great <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> only thing i remember is the skulk Teeths GRR

    The Spelling didn't detract at all, I like it alot, and unless you can do better (even if you don't like it) you should only say nice things!

    I just hate seeing someone do something and then see posts about how there are mistakes or its not good or could be better.

    I have no art talent at all, so I find anything anyone does just great, I enjoy it all, I wish people would stop being so critical and just enjoy the fun of these things!


    Constructive criticism is all find and dandy, and it does help, but when you post it, you should always make an extra effort to Say
    "GREAT JOB!"
    or some other nice thing, to show the person, you did enjoy it!

    Speaking for myself here, it's in my nature to criticise. I work all day designing, making images, drawing, sketching, painting or whatever. If there's any errors i don't just notice, they glare right in my face and shout "JESUS CHRIST LOOK AT THIS ERROR OMG LOOK LOOK", I can't ignore them. I try my hardest to give compliments and advice where necessary. If i feel that something looks out of place, i'll say why i think that and what i think (in my opinion) could make it better.

    There is nothing wrong whatsoever with constructive criticism, but i think there is something greatly wrong with not giving it. If you don't offer advice how to either improve techniques and so on, they'll carry on doing the same things. And making the same mistakes. Over, and over, and over and over again, until someone will break and just flame away when a simple bit of friendly advice could have avoided that before. There's not a single person on these forums or anywhere that can't benefit from either other people's opinions or critique.


    Then again, as far as i'm concerned, you just have to be grateful sometimes that i don't say anything bad <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    But this isn't negative critiscism, it's constructive criticism. It means that we give our <b>honest</b> opinions.
