ahh you are a Predator fan. Well, sorry to say but no jungle map in the world could stay below 700 w_poly <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
But the SP mod Heart Of Evil used sprites for bushes. That looks totally crap when moving closer but it is also fairly fast. From the atmosphere and balance point of view I see no reason why this could not be a funny fun map that is fun to map.

EDIT: No I wont do it. No time, no skill. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

Well, ever played Hitman? The view distance is crap, but the jungle looks coooool!!!

What I mean is: It is always a matter of view distance and a good LOD system that makes jungle maps possible.

Sorry to be the only one to step in here, but, making an NS map requires a lot of work. Infact no, not a lot of work, a +LOT+ of work. We're talking months of just the architecture and layout, then there's making sure the texturing and lighting's right, then balancing the map to be fair, then there's beta testing, only THEN do you get around to the final release.

Tbh you can't just say "make me a map" and expect people to do it.

If you have an interesting concept for a map, try sketching a basic outline, giving examples and reference pictures, guide the mapper for what you want to achieve, then if it's an interesting or cool project, then someone will take up the challenge.

And don't bring the "imagination" thing into it, that's just lazy dude, give guidance.

I'm sorry if i come across harsh, but you really need to sit back and give consideration to the amount of work that goes into an NS map, and then respect the talents of the mappers of this community.
