A newly designed facility for weaponary designing and armamte upgrading. Over run by the aliens...Or so we think..

    You seem to have quite a fetish for the yellow-and-black stripe texture, but I'll say this: it works SO much better in moderation... might want to find another texture to replace it.

    Ummm.Noooo Theres no ns replacement.
    Mayeb you didnt read my post this is a underground level...
    Ie your gonna see a lot of underground terrain. (caves etc) Thats kinda the whole unique look. BUt if ns has a newer rock texture that i cannot find please tell me it and i will be glad to change it. I have also change the stripe texture on those poles. Heres a pic of the updated marine spawn:

    Heres A look at the ns_1000

    The ns_1000 is a assualt dropship. Armed with dual raill cannons and six sub-nuclear missles. It is the ultamite troop deploment method (can carry upto 10 heavily armed soldiers into battle)

    my dropship? It has a inside... It has wings. and it has that cockpit. Not too mention the missle batteries on the wings. The door on the back that folds down. Maybe i read the site faq wrong but this is a online mod right? There are suchs things as lag and r_speeds. If lag is too high and are speeds are too high than gameplay goes out the window! So im sory if i try not to add so much detail. But if you have to much the 56kers are gonna have a real ##### of a time running the game.

    er... yea, like freemantle said, it looks like a box. visit www.nin64.com/prefabland and you'll see low poly prefabs of HOLLOW drop ships that look a helluva lot better than that box. Words may be harsh, but if you've seen the level of detail put in maps so far without breaking the mapping guidelines, you'll see that a much prettier ship is possible

    Looks like that dropship is outside.
    And as far as I know, outside areas are not allowed in NS

    Outside areas are discouraged.  If you *must* have one, make it an area seldom used... Hera's drop-pad is an example.  The marines spawn there, drop a resource tower, and then usually close the door and ignore it for most of the game.

    It must stay in the atmosphere of NS, and if it's too large that's not going to work.  If you have any doubts, take it out - put the ship in a hangar or something.

    Im sure you can find a replacement cliff texture on a texture site.  That HL one died a long time ago after being used constantly.

    oh yeah here i have put soem purple and orane and black lighting. There will plenty of different styles used now
