<div class="IPBDescription">Frozen throne</div> okayokayokay.. as this biiig fan of WC3 that i am.. im soo getting the expasion pack as soon as i get the cash for it, but for now i most settle with reading about it on blizzards hp... but i found one thing that i thought was abit funny... the unit "warden" has an ability that is called "blink" guess what it does <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'>

Good grief; they now have summonable units which in turn can ALSO summon units? I'll stick with Starcraft or Sacrifice, thank you. (might buy the expansion for my sister as a gift though)

Don't judge it so harshly. It has some of the best SP I've ever played, with <i>insane</i> amounts of new content and game types.

Oh, and the Warden pwns you. And all your casters. Mostly the casters, actually.

UGH DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE WARDEN. That has to be the most annoying hero in war3FT. I just played a game were that stupid warden kept running in, blinking past all my defences and hacking away at my gatherers. Finally i went obsidian statues + aboms w nerubian beetle guy and pwned him. Turns out he was going mass archers. That did ok with the moon wells as backup but then i hit him with the whole attack all over again and it was over.
(ps... that big beetle is NOT a good hero against NE)

I enjoyed WC3 for a little while, but they've focused too much on micromanagement. I like how its ll in 3D, and the map editor is easy to learn, but you can't have an actual army, its all just a little squad that you have to micro all teh time constantly forever and ever to have a chance of winning the game.

I'll stick with Starcraft and its huge armadas of carriers and swarms of ultralists and all that large army good stuff.

Love 'dem orcs. Thats why I personaly couldn't stand the Night Elves and their cheap hit and run, hit and run tactics. Haha, call me old fashioned but the larger the battle and the more carnage the better <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'>

The other, neutral heros are tons of fun as well. The Pandaren Brewmaster is just sooooooo cool. I've never been a fan of RTS multiplayer, so I stick mostly to the SP, and I think that's where TFT really shines. The Orc campaign is by far the coolest of the four; instead of a traditional RTS campaign that ties into the rest of the story, the Orcs have a seperate, RPG campaign similar to the original design of WC3. It plays somewhat like Diablo and is loads of fun.

So far cheapest price i've seen for Frozen Throne is 35 w/ 10$ off (add that to my 20$ gift voucher from EB and WC3: Collectors is free!) so i'm gonna get it.

As for night elf its not hit and run... its tank up with mountain giants / hunts then just march in their base and lay some holy smackdown on them.
Starcraft takes like 10X more micro than warcraft III. You obviously have never played in the big leagues or watched one of slayers~boxors replays if you think starcraft is about big battles and assaults.

I wasn't gonna pick it up, because I heard it had a really weak ending, and I'm saving up for HL2. If I have leftover after that I'll get it at around 20 bucks.

well i have it:
and skinny's Q hasn't been answered yet, well maybe it has, i scrolled down fairly quickly, Blink enables the Warden to teleport a short distance, at lvl 3 she can do it with a 1sec. cooldown.

i haven't completed it yet, but i can say the Campaigns are a little out of the usual, don't expect to control the 4 regular races at all times, in fact a good bunch of the levels you control "special" races, both modififed and New.

the Orc campaign is a RPG-map, yes only 1 map, but 2 more is to come with updates...

The Editor had a serious overhaul, the tools it had before is much more powerful, i think the list for units/heroes is double as long, and now you can edit Abilities.
......so im making a new Hero Arena, with custom abilities, since last time i logged onto Battle.net there wasn't really that many Custom maps, so im making one
maybe i'll also just update Katans hero arena, the first, and most basic one - it uses the Standard heroes, so i would just have to insert the new ones.
