<div class="IPBDescription">Another 'level of the week'!</div>The man is getting quite a collection.

PHLs Gonnas has decided to review Relics <a href="http://www.planethalf-life.com/cs/features/lotw/lotw071402.shtm" target="_blank">de_deep6</a> as this weeks CS level of the week. The first words of the article are <i>"AUTHOR'S NOTE: This review almost killed me."</i>, which is, considering that we're talking about a gamespy employee here, a good sign <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo-->

Anyway, congratulations Relic, I hope you'll go on making great maps!

    deep6 is a great map haven't played (or even downloaded) the "prequal" tho (i think i saw somewhere it doesn't work anymore with the latest HL version, i could be wrong tho s:) ). I hope some more servers will put the map in their mapcycle now s:)

    Relics got some sweet maps..I played this HLDM map that, while it was small, it was VERY well done and VERY good at slapping you into the atmosphere. I look forward to playing his map in NS, knowing this.

    Do you know the theory that everyone knows everyone else over at most six other people?

    I'm starting to suspect that being a member of the NS community decreases this number to 'three'...

    Oh god.  I forgot that map was still even out there.  It was only the 2nd map I ever tried.  How embarassing.

    Anyway, it was a cs map first.  It was MaryB who adapted it for use in flf, and it's also because of her that I went on to make flf_rage.  The 'prequel' to deep6 was cs_chill, an abysmally bad first mapping attempt, and I'm glad it no longer works in cs.

    The little HLDM map, chum, was just made for LAN games at work with 4 to 6 people.

    Yes, I remember having to hack cs_chill a bit to get it to run, just so I could get a look at it. <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo-->

    I can definitely say you've improved since then, Relic.  Though I still love the sub-broken-through-the-ice area. <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

    hmm.. i had forgotten it was relic who originally made deep6. well then relic, thanks for letting us (the flf team) have that wonderful map. it didn't really fit cs since it was so big, but it was just perfect for FLF I think :)

    congrats
