<div class="IPBDescription">ns_phobia</div> Ok. This map has been 14 months moreless (started on May 2002) for no reason on my HDD, it isn't finished yet, and I don't know how close to finish it is (I've been deleting some rooms / corridors I didn't like at all), but I have some pics to show you.

One is my redone Reservoir Overlook. I got rid of the program generated terrain and did the terrain "by hand", so I'll show you comparison pics:

After this two screenshots, I'll show you another recent room, it has no name yet, so you can suggest me some names, and critisize it if you wish (on the first screenshot, the black part on the "door" was just "gl_clear 1" deleted with photoshop, so it looks a little strange)

    The new cliffs looks nice (and lowpoly?) but you should change the black sky to something else. In the second pic I think the big broken pipe in the floor does not have to be there at all. Lightning is pretty good.

    Yes, it has less polys

    And the broken pipe in the floor makes it feel less... "open" :\

    I promised I would finish it before 2.0 but since 1.1 is now 2.0 it's pretty hard <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Nice work ! i really like the 2nd shot , looks different. the 3rd and 4 th pic look quite nice too, nice detailz on the pipes system with some cool lighting . The only thing i would change is the sky as quazilin pointed out , more of a landscape type environement. cant wait to see more <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I think you ought to use a different water texture for the outside area (although I really don't like any of them unless they are transparent.) It would also be nice if there were some shadows among the rock. Maybe give the light a more skewed angle. That could make the inside area look more dramatic also.

    As for a name for the pipe room.... uhhh indisputable ramifications? For some reason I think it needs more of a flavor name, as pipe room is not all that interesting. So, i'll try giving you a list.

    indisputable ramifications
    antipathy
    oops I dropped my laser gun
    wailing sorrow
    indeterminate possibilities
    pipe room that hovars without flapping

    If any of these don't make sense, or just kind of suck, it's because i've had almost 0 sleep and don't expect any for a few days, so my brain is kind of switched off. Very nice pics though. Those slanted supports in the first two pics give it a really wierd feel, fits the name ns_phobia. For some reason it seems like it would feel as though the room is angled to the left when you walk in it.

    I'm really scared about this. More and more people get affected by it for no visible reason! Do we need a carantaine for them? Is it dangerous?

    Very nice. If you have some polies to spare, it'd be fun for skulks if you hollowed out the floor pipe and maybe a little bit of the broken ends of the ones on the ceiling :-)

    Name? How about...
    Coolant Routing (lots of pipes, moving to different locations...)
    Flow Access (it would make even more sense if you had open pipes)
