    also, i REALLY dislike the idea that siege still kills aliens, i say make it manual selection of buildings and 0 dmg to aliens. so there!

    Pre-1.04 sieges were really fun when you were gorge. You'd wonder why that node wasn't capped, waddle over, place an RC and get blown to smithereens. "Wth???"
    I support the "no-damage to aliens" sieges.

    damn right.

    alien structures is a total life line to any upgrade or ANYTHING for alien, and just 2 sieges cuts through them like warm knife through butter, plus takes down aliens which doesn`t even make NS sense anyway.
    cos it would ave lost damage going through all this walls.

    I think if sieges are going to hurt aliens they should hurt marines as well. From the story line behind them its not the actual graviton beam they emmit that kills players as it is all the bits of gore being blown off structures that kills you. If a renode being blasted hurts a gorge it wiould make sense that it would hurt a 'rine too.

    No just no, you have your magic walls of lame and we have are sieges. If your not smart enough to move when your getting nuked thats your fault.. not the games. Its fine as is, the siege is already cut down to being sited, we don't need to be cut down anymore!

    As I recall, WOLs are being toned down. Personally, I would like to see all explosives damage marines. It's annoying to see marines walk through mine and grenade blasts like it's just a light rain. Perhaps in 1.2.

    I was under the impression in 1.04 that if you stand on TOP of the structure being seiged, then you take no damage. Seige damage travels along the floor.

    lol i saw this once. We were playing with FF on and this guy ran up to a res node and happilly began knifing it, (it was 1.02 or 1.03) next thing i know, there is a "BOOM" and he was gone......

    We could take the idea that's been voiced about sieges in the beta forums - make the siege do no damage to aliens, but knock them back instead (like acid rocket etc. do to marines atm). Makes the siege disrupt aliens, but not kill them from 30m away thru a wall...

    I don't think so. I've been killed in the vent off Processing by a sieged OC below me before.

    If that EVER happened I can just see crazed, NS addicted lunitics counting the time between the siege firings, and jumping JUST as it hit the ground, so that they would take no damage.
