I've personally never even seen any feature in the game that sounds like this. It's quite possible, though, that it's just never come up in any of the games I've played.

I've only seen in once. It's <u>extremely</u> hard to do. Try right clicking on the equipment, but I'm going to warn you, most of the time you'll just get a move-to waypoint instead.

I actually achieve it once by accidentally dropping an hmg on a proto lab and then trying to right click the proto lab. So far, I know of no reproducable method to get the "pick up equipment at waypoint", but it's interesting when it does happen.

I personally like the "build structure at waypoint" message when you click on a hive. If only "defend target" came up when you clicked on a gorge......sigh.
