  Dont know what u mean by "interp"
  But for other things its usualy bind "key" "command"
  
  ex when I press the letter q i want it to saw " Incoming aliens!"
  
  you would type in console
  
  bind q "say_team Incoming aliens!"
  
  for number pad keys just to go controls and set a command toone of them and it will tell you the abreviation for that key.
  ex kp_1 or kp_5

  You bind commands to keys using the <b>'bind'</b> command. Devilishly easy to understand once you know the syntax...
  
  <b>'bind <i><desired button> <desired command that you want binding to that button>'</i></b>
  
  So in the your case, you would simply open your console and type: <b>'bind 9 interp 7'</b>

  i type 'bind 9 interp 7' and it says (bind <key>[command] : attach a command to a key)

  Try putting 'interp 7' in quotes, like this:
  <b>bind 9 "interp 7"</b>
  
  If that doesn't work either, try putting '9' in quotes as well.

  Interp is frame interpolation, and it a boolean, it can only be turned on and off, not set to a value.
  
  You can set ex_interp to 7, but I wouldn't recommend it.

  Interp refers to the variable "ex_interp" which is highly exploitable and should be left to the default setting of 0.1 - Just make sure it isnt in your config(s) and it will be automatically set to 0.1
