Ns Maps Don't Appear In Lan Games.

I just started NS, I'im already getting pretty good, even though I dont know all the maps <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->.
Anyways, in trying to get better at commanding I went and got the bot, but after I installed the bot none of the maps now show up when I go to start a LAN game. Now it only shows the default crappy half life maps. I tried started normal half life and loading the mod (it makes sure it loads the right map list) but doing so means you can't start a game because it doesnt load the specific dll files needed to run NS.... Or it simply doesnt load any of my config files or any NS "hotkey" files, so its useless anyways.....

If anyone knows how to fix this problem, it would be great, otherwise im stuck with playing games at 3 in the morning just so i can get in the hotseat and start ordering people around <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->.

    dont use the desktop shortcut... its busted like mad <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> also make sure it is installed somewhere along the lines of this C:\Sierra\Half-Life\ns where Half-Life is the directory of the halflife .exe (couldnt remember name) but otherwise.... maybe real life is better <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    That doesn't really help me. I need to know a fix and instructions on getting in a LAN game of NS which works perfectly.
    It all worked before i installed the bot.

    Also i have to use shortcuts, otherwise i can't get rid of XP mouse acceleration (using the -noforcemparms -noforcemaccel)....

    Check that under the 'start in' box of the shortcut properties that you have specified your half-life directory there. Thats usually the problem.

    Lawsy see if this helps-

    Double-Click onto the Team Fortess 1.5 icon on your desktop,then click onto "custom game" then it'll show you what you have installed,Natural Selection should be at the top ok? Highlight it,then click "Activate" then click done.Then goto "Multiplayer" click that then click onto "Internet Games" then click onto "Create Game" and all your NS maps should show up,just pick a map ya wanna play and set how many players ya want then click "OK". I believe F3 is the default button for adding bots to a game. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    heh, thanks for your replies but i already figured it out....

    After working on my initial com starts and rez capping in a bot match, i went out to the pubs and hit the chair, with unbalaced teams (there favour, plus they had a few top clanners) we managed to just win with a good rush from the boys (5 guys with jp's and hmg's all at once took out 1 hive, came back, took out the next, meanwhile im constantly feeding health and ammo).
