I still think the one wish everyone SHOULD get is to ask for a million more wishes. Its just the smart thing to do. U might not need all of them but heck no harm in having a few extar wishes handy (in case the others go wrong).

immortality would suck when the human race kills itself to biological warfare and youre alone ona barren planet till the sun expands to a red giant and envelops the earth in ten billion years and you still cant die, so youre floating int he center of the core of the sun being burned beyond burning.

Mages: got various spells - some of them allows you to live without anything but to clothes your wearing (create food, Fashion and Makeover...) but there's also more destructive spells(firebolt/ball, Stunbolt/ball etc.) healing spells, illiusion, Transformation and more...

Why can't you ask for more wishes? Who said that this is "illegal"? The idea of a wish is that it can be anything, right? If you rub a lamp and get a genie with 3 wishes, if you're going to go as far as make a man pop out of a magic lamp in a fantasy, why can't you get whatever you want out of the wishes?
The genie might as well say: *Genie loud booming voice* "Ask anything and you shall receive! And oh, you can't ask for more wishes. And also, don't ask for those tortilla things. I don't know how to make those yet. Hmm.. what else? If you're going to ask for world peace, let me gag right now. If that's what you really want, give me 10-15 years on that one, k mister?"
