My nick?

It was first created for a Imperial Guard Catachan commander. Then because it looked so cool I started to use it online!

i could bet my A$$ that 50% of nicks are origin of retro games of some type.

my freind saw a truck saying "DeepFreezeSupplys" on it, so he became that and i decided to be DrunkMonkey. just out of the blue for no reason so i stuck with it for the hell of it

I don't remember where I got my name, but according to a lot of people it's a game. I'll have to try it one day....

I also go by Refleks which is a russian ATGM, but I just like the spelling

I used to go by Tempest or Absolut_Tempest after meh latin class, but then a bunch of guys thought I was a girl so that had to go. "A-HYUCK DO YOU HAEV BIG BOOBZ?" (notice the mis-spelling of "have" and the rip off of goofy's "a-hyuck" which illustrates the reletively spaceyness and low IQ of someone who can't read the difference between Tempest and Temptress)

I think I'll go have pie now. mmm pie.

I have mine because I think it's got a nice ring to it. It used to be Col. Kilgore, from apocalypse now.

    Mine is 100% made up.

I just was looking for an alias to use so I came up with a bunch of names starting with "v".

It appears to have no meaning.

My name comes from the Hida family of Legend of the Five Rings (members of the Crab Clan). It's my more or less offical clan. Tsuzua is a bunch of Japanese sounds throw together that sounds good. The closest word is tsuzuru which means bind.

My name on most other forum and ingame used to be "Mighty Mullet" beacause of my FORMER hairstyle.

Nowadays I like to have a name that says "How much nerdlier could I get?"

my origins are basically the Arabic Language.

Hayaat translates from Arabic into English as "Life" and all that it entails. I used to use Thanatos and other variants of death in HLDM, usually using the Ankh as my spray... so it was kinda a gradual evolution.

hehe, gone from death to life

/me poke life boy, the ankh is a syboly of life and fertility, not death

Ankhs, yah my GF gave me her necklace (when I went off to college) so I made sure I know what it is for when every one asks me

Having already read Watership Down (great book) long before playing NS, I frowned at his name once, then though "bah, he probably just liked the word" and didn't think any more about it.

"lolfighter", as well as my usual nick "Squid Fizzy" (sometimes Squidfizzy) are both 100% original. Although I may have stolen "lolfighter" from a friend.

And Marathon: Infinity was a REALLY great game.

i really really liked the evil skedar race in Perfect Dark, so that was my online handle for a while.

a retired clanmember i used to play tribes 2 with idles in IRC and talks typo-ese all day long. One fateful day he misspelled my name 'sekdar' and i liked it enough to change nicks.

*shrug* yes i know i have a few screws loose.

I already posted mine in Th@ annoying kid's.
Actually, I have a new one now. That scorpian that hovars without flapping fad thing has been going on, and when Savage wanted to register the channel (#scorpianthathovarswithoutflapping), the guy wanted to abbreviate it (STHWF). I just added some vowels and stuff, and it came to Sythawf, which is much, much cooler than Pjofsky. At least people don't inquire about me being Polish, 'cause I'm not ^^.

I read it much longer ago than you to the extent that when I saw the name "Flayra" it didn't register as a Watership Down thing at all. I just assumed it had something to do with The God Of Whipping People To Death ("flay"ing people alive, and Ra the Egyptian sun god).
