i remember when i first got the game, i always went gorge and built sense at the start and then quickly went skulk again, god damn it was funny annoying everyone and making them mad. When i see people doing what i once did, i smile <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> Sometimes i give them other ways of annoying everyone as well.
That is how i've helped some people. <!--emo&::gorge::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/pudgy.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='pudgy.gif'><!--endemo-->
It was Ns_nancy and we had just spawned in the marine team. A man named David1941 joined our team and over voice com told us that he did not know how to play.
Me knowing how to play i taught him the objecvtives, what our enemy was, the importance of welding, and staying as a team. He kept right by me that round, I got a Jp and he got HA, and we went through the vents, i had a HMG he had a nader. I boosted him through most of the vents until i reached the end of a vent looking over a hive, i signaled to him, and i said "aim for the massive green thing...no stop shooting the res tower, yes there we go", naturally, we had skulks go right at him (rather stupid as they couldnt move anywhere) and i blasted each one that threatend my new n00b friend.
We continued this vigilant team of 2 and the commander started to notice our elite efforts, and was constantly watching over us, i didnt even need to ask for ammo and health - it simply rained with it when required.
We won that game, i dont know where everyone else was, but i think a key element was the the enemy wearnt expecting a HA/Nader in the vents!
Played a great game or two with a nub. GHot him to stick around in the ready room, explained over the basics, some basic rules of etiquette and so on, general practices. We went into the game, carried on playing, i answered his questions.
About 2 weeks after that i notice he's clanned. Heh. gg nubbin <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
