Chinese Secret To Improve One's Health

weird bizarre device?
I came across this site where this guy claims he uses magnets to improve his health and cure different conditions. If this even has a grain of truth in it, I'd try and make one- any of you ever use anything described here:
linkage
It sounds pretty official and I can kind of see how magnets would affect the iron in your blood and all. But what strikes me most is this- "Chinese have been using magnets to improve their health for thousands of years, now it's time others had a chance to know of these secrets!"
Heh I'm chinese and I've never heard of magnets doing anything like that. One of my friends has a magnet pad and she told me that her chinese physician said it can draw "chi" to areas of injury so this has me thinking. If this is BS, then it's pretty bad how he associates it with chinese- but then again we do have a lot weird herbal stuff too.

FYI I'm not one of them, I've never used it but I would be interested in trying em out if someone here has used it before and could put in a word for em.

But you never know......
I mean, its totally illogical to make so much for a few kills, but people have some weird fetishes......
As for the magnets, i'd say it was a placebo effect.
I've GOT a time machine suckas! I wear it on my wrist. It is propelling us forward verrrrrry slowly.

All right! Send me the plans so I'll make one for free. Then I'll link it to your site and when you have sold 100 time machines, you give me another one for free! YAY!
It could be all in your head, but as long as it works, what's wrong with that?

I didnt go see what the magnet this guy is using but the magnet concept has been around for years. Im surpirsed you havnt seen those magnetic braclets they sell on tv and in natural medicine magizines and such.
Most of the ones ive seen are like either the jewlery type that look all nice. And the others look more like black sweat bands that youc an put around your elbows to relieve joint pain.
They even make dog collar ones for your pet. This whole thing has been around for several years its nothing new.
The distinguished Mayo Medical Research Clinic just did a study that proved that religous prayer made no differences in healing or recovery rates, even when the people truly believed in their religous god/s helping them.
Here, someone is selling you the right to stand on his farm land. Yes, I'm not joking. The guy is smart. He drew some circles on his field and let's you stay in a circle for an hour for 50 bucks or so. It is supposed to bring you good health and all. The place is obviously crowded and needs booking in advance... I mean, jeez.
No offence anyone.

Futurama?
You know, so many people are arguing because antennas are put up near their houses (the ones for mobile phones). They are 100% sure that these produce waves of whatever that causes bad things to a human body.
It will never stop. The human imagination has NO borders.
A few years ago, people laughed at the concept of poking small pieces of metal into their bodies for therapeutical purposes. Today, even the most conventional of health insurances cover accupuncture.
this really has no effect on a healthy individual, but it CAN reduce healing times by , say, 10% if you draw that tiny bit more blood around a scab or pulled muscle.
there is no proof of this because 10% time on a variable five days to two weeks time frame is so innacurate, theres really no way to know it works without trying it for many years until you are convinced of it!
under the same principle, it has a small chance of lessening pain around old people's joints.
in reality the practical value is not worth $19.95, but its still neat.

I had to put some tape around it to make it fit my pinkies. Heh if anything different happens while I wear em, I'll let you guys know. But I must admit when first wearing them, there some some tingling effect, but I'll chalk that up to just being psychological.
I don't believe in them giving eternal life, but I think that even if 1% of what the maker says is true, since these are for free, it's worth the trouble.
