    Well i really dont understand your problem but ill try to help as best i can. After you click on update you wait about 10-60 seconds and a list of servers will show up. Double-click on a server you want to play that you have the map for and there are a few spots open....for example 10/32

    Also, don't use the desktop shortcut. It's broke. Go from custom games, or edit the shortcut to start in your halflife folder.

    I fixed my shortcut by adding c:\sierra\half-life to my start-in line. You are obviously getting further than this so please explain further if help still needed. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I personaly never got the hang of the NS 'traditional' server search so....

    you could try this site if you like

    You'll have to copy the server IP address (select then control+c) then open ns go into the consol and paste it in (control+v) and hit enter.

    No worries about the regristration because you'll never have to really do it.
