With this system
I now get 60 fps with this system (v-sync ON, if its off it goes anywhere from 10 to 80 fps)
P4 2.0ghz
256mb ram
Intel Integrated Video
Integrated Sound
60gb hd
Running with OpenGL in 1024x768
I did increase the refresh rate, it seems to be 85 in game(highest it can go)

Any software suggestions to give me more fps...
I don't want to disable v-sync unless I can get it to stay high

Please be more precise on that.
    Which chipset?

RAM is a little bit low, try adding another 256mb or even upgrade to 1gig, not that expensive nowadays.

If you want to increase your fps you have two options: 1) buy a graphics card, almost anything is better than an integrated one. or 2) turn down your resolution, at 640x480 you'd probably get constant 99.

I used to get 60 fps with my GF4 ti4200 and about same specs as you. Let me guess your using windows XP? it has a 60fps cap bug built in. well anyway this might only apply if you have a nvidia card but its worth a shot. What you do is go control panel/Display/settings/advanced and if your lucky there might be a tab with your video card there. Click on on and look around for an option which lets you change your refresh rate from 60 or 85 to 100. Now if you can do this you can safely turn vsync off with out it feeling like you have 40 fps. Im sorry if this doesent help you but i had fps problems with nvidia cards. If you cant change your refresh rate in the settings try downloading this http://www.palmblvd.com/software/pc/Refres...18-palm-pc.html but im pretty sure this was made for nvidia only but im not sure.

Also i found your video car. You should get 100 fps becasue your card is 64mb default Intel® 82845G/GL 64MB .
