Ghost C-10 Rifle

<div class="IPBDescription">Animator Needed (maybe skinner)</div> I've been working on the C-10 Rifle from Starcraft: Ghost. I was planning on using it as a pistol, but perhaps maybe a LMG. I havn't added a scope for it yet though. But this is just how it looks. I'm looking for someone who can animate well to take a crack at it. I would prefer it as a pistol since I want to use Jamil's Gauss Rifle as my LMG. If not a pistol, I guess a LMG. Anyways, If you are interested, PM me.
I might need someone who can skin it to help also, but I am learning how to skin. So yeah.

He means it'd look good for the shotgun model. I wish I could see it tho, the pic is messed up, but I think either shotgun or Pistol would be good for it since the pistol is basicly a sniper rifle w/o a scope

I'm not saying it would be used like a pistol with pistol animations. It would be like the Marine team has 2 weapons starting out, a LMG, and a Rifle. It's just for variety.

Well i finished the model and skinned it using the one found on the ghost website. It's a pretty low quality skin =\. But it does its job. Maybe someone can re-skin it in higher detail. Anyways, I need an animator! Here's how it looks.

No. Not a shotty!!! Make it lmg. We have to get some weapons for the SC marines. Shotty is sometimes very rare ingame. Lmg is much better.

I plan on using the Gauss Rifle for both LMG, and HMG once it's released, if someone doesn't release a new HMG model for them. I say make it a shotty tho, it's a canister rifle, and acted somewhat like a shotgun in the game, but it's his model so he can use it as anything if he wants.

Well, I plan on using the Guass Rifle too. (In fact I made my own w/o animations to pass the time until a good one comes out =p). It shouldnt be a shotgun, but I think it should be a Pistol. I use the Ghost c-10 rifle sound from starcraft as my pistol fire sound. The pistol is the "sniper" weapon of natural selection so I think it's right to be able to use a C-10 rifle as a pistol =). I need an animator badly =(. Anyone?

It's really MUCH too big to be a pistol. My bag'o'poop one is sitting in my shotty slot.

Well, the point I was making is that it wouldn't BE a pistol. It would replace the secondary weapon with a rifle instead of a pistol. Like you would carry 2 weapons when you spawn; LMG and Rifle, NOT LMG and gun that looks like rifle but is a pistol. It would use the LMG animations though, so you wouldnt see a guy walking around holding it like a pistol. They would be holding it like a Rifle, though it would be in the second weapon slot.

Cut the barrel off. Its too damn long. You will probably kill the skulk by poking it in the eye at close range with the barrel when you're trying to aim. Saw it off and make it look like the conversion when the canister rifle can go full auto in GHOST.

Oh, ok. I thought it was going to be the C-20 series, which in the game is interchangable from Sniper Rifle, Grenade Launcher, and Full-Auto Assault Rifle. Its the C-20...not the C-10 from the Starcraft RTS. But still, outstanding job. Just a wee thought...

yep... that's what I meant. the problem is that the only *really* accurate weapon on longe range IS the handgun. but this model IS to big for a handgun replacement. so I thought the only other fitting semi-automatik weapon in NS is the shotty.... hope you NOW got the idea... <img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'>

btw: I said make it for the shotty, cause the C-20 Gauss Rifle is already in progress for the LMG... well... maybe we could use this one here for the HMG... Eh, well is there even a shotgun in SC Ghost or anything? I'm sure there would be somewhere, anyway, isn't there like a way to make it when a marine is crouched with the weapon , it looks like he's looking through the scope?

Update: I Updated my c-10 rifle with lots of new features that I originally forgot, like the bipod, and some miscellanious tubes of some sort. I also re-did the skinning so it looks much better, though still low-quality.

Make it for shotgun/lmg/or whatever. I prefer shotgun because I'd rather have the Guass Rifle as the LMG or HMG.

You silly people... it's not a pistol replacement. It is a replacement model for a long-range, small-clip, high-accuracy, low-ROF weapon. Which, if you will recall, is EXACTLY what the Ghost's rifle is in Starcraft.

Which makes this a perfect replacement model. (:
