<div class="IPBDescription">an NS movie in production</div> work has already begun on an NS movie titled "run like hell"
first day of shooting went very well, with everyone doing what they were told (although afterwards people kept getting carried away and eating the Infantry portals <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> ) It was also very enjoyable, and everyone had a laugh.

If anyone is interested in helping out as a marine or a alien, or would even be kind enough to host a temporary server where we could film without people interfering and ruining the movie, (i.e. Teppla <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo--> ) that would be very cool.

    Sounds like its gunna be a sweet movie. Any thing you wanna tell us about the storyline? I can pretty much imagine that the marines base gets overrun, and they have to get to another location or somethin am i right?

They've been keeping tabs on Quake/Quake2/Quake3/Half-Life movies for a while. I've been hoping there would be a surge in the movie making community again to do movies more frequently with really popular mods like NS. They're really fun to make & interesting to watch.

    Only question I have about the movie is it going to be serious or a comedy?

    You want a story line I hear you scream?

    Well seeing as its my birthday today, I'm feeling kind enough to present a plot:

    this is a "dark comedy" movie (i.e. funny, but at the same time, not)

    BASIC OUTLINE OF PLOT: Marines head to a hive all commando style (just imagine Alien2) then get to a hive to find tons of alien eggs (achieved by having all the aliens gestate at once, budget cuts! woo!) They decide to Shoot the hell out of a gorge, and the eggs, and then well, Onos gets very upset. And so do the hordes of skulks that happen to be in the vincinity. And then follows the hilarious sight of seeing 20 or so marines running away from Oni and more babblers then you can shake a stick at (without making the server cry) Then follows the Hunt for the marines, and some other cool stuff happens and yada yada yada, you get the idea... we may even have some classic Knife fighting, fades getting their heads blown off, Marines suspicously "disappearing" and the classic stragety of "lets split up to cover more ground!" (like that ever works <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo--> )
