Worst Relocation Spot?

What's the worst place you've ever seen marines relocate to at the start of the game?

Last night I was playing on ns_caged and the marines (with an inexperienced comm) relocated to the small corridor with the welded door just outside vent hive (they initially tried shipping tunnel, but we cleared that quickly). It made for a fun game, as they kept rushing the hive and we had to keep rushing their base, but they were doomed. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

I've seen a lot of comms relocate to some obscure place in the ventilation system on various maps, but only as a last, futile attempt at survival.

    On Eclipse a week or so ago the marine team relocated to horseshoe.

    well, I always forget the mapnames, but I think it's called NS_bast or something (Feed, Refinery, Engine)

    We relocated to the beginning of tram tunnel, at the intersection between tram tunnel, corridor to engine steep elevator, and the hallway to Refinery...

    Well, to keep it short, we died, horribly <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    No ress whatsoever, attacked from all sides...

    Then after saving up all ress to about 90, he decided to give us a shotty, not 2, but 1 !!! And that was all he was going to give us... was fun tbh <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Defintely a relocation to the first res point away from the marine start in ns_nancy... Aliens coming from 3 directions and all the buildings packed into a tiny room full of mines!

    The first fade got 7 mine kills in one shot and took out almost all the structures...

    Definatly cargo on ns_nothing cos its just SO boring, rines fail rines die very quickly. rines relocate, Oh look JP/HMGs *again*

    The fact of the matter is it just too predicatble as in it happens every game.

    Its good practice if your in a clan to pick a odd spot and try to do a relocation. In my clan, I find that that regardless of where its at, as long as we have a res in the new spot its doable. One time we relocated to the res thats down the long ladder from the feedwater hive.. was fun as hell.

    Generator Hive in Caged...I love when Marines relocate there, since is DAMN hard to hold even 1 of those res nodes when they are inside there, or Ventilation in Hera...nothing funnier than seeing marines jump down in the water, and having to go ALL the way around to get back up.

    I always wanted to try a relocate to Archiving hive in Hera...ya know, the one where the closest res node is about a 5 minute walk? LOL.

    Ya ever notice that all the maps have similar room names in some form? Vent hive in Hera...Vent hive in Caged. Aux gen in Nancy, Aux Gen in Caged. Etc?

    One node and one hive don't make a good relocation... try locking the Ventilation hive in hera or caged from inside.
    Let's not speak about Viaduct... pincushionned by lerks as you spawn and chomped as soon as you climb the ladders , only to find WoLs at each end of the corridor if you survive. (however , dropping IPs and a protolab on the catwalk has to be tried)

    For heavy claustrophobia , try relocating to the hidden node in caged.

    once, marines couldn't pull off a relocation to reactor room on tanith, so instead we relocated to jsut outside. About 2 secs away from marine start, just up the little ramp where ht door is that leads to the ladder to RR. it ahs a button, you know? and it has a ton of rubble blocking the hall in one direction.

    You know how if you are standin at the horsshoe there is an odd ramp that goes down? well we relocated at the bottom of that ramp. And the sad thing is that we won.

    worst i saw was a relocate to Power Subjunction on ns_eclipse (the little blue room with the vent leading to Computer core hive).... first fade turned up, and got 9 mine kills .... and then the skulk just poured out of the vent lol. was soo funny to watch. was 9v9. a1 fade, and 8 skulks. fade cleared the mines, and all 8 skulks charged out the vent at the same time. i went gorge in the top, and dropped oc's onto their base O_O

    was funny as hell.

    i made my team relocate to the long hallway on eclipse by power sub junction 3 and we won really funny too because i couldnt get upgrades so i had to move to maint hive to get stuff bleh

    I once saw the marines locate to one of the little ledges above PowerSilo, and the IP's were blocked, so they spawned, couldn't go one way, went the other, right off the edge. The sight of seeing 9 marines falling to their death, or into the acid was too funny. We just stood and watched. The ones that didn't move got telefragged. Eventually, we spored the poor suckers and sent a skulk cleanup crew to end their misery.

    The worst relocation ive experienced was when the comm relocated to the extremely confined space of "N" corridor on NS_Bast (near engine room and above Atmos). we didnt have enough room to build and get tech and the comm refused to build outside the corridor. eventually, after a failed eject comm vote we were gassed by lerks <!--emo&:angry:--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo-->
