<div class="IPBDescription">Be truthfull now...</div> I know alot of very dedicated people who have used cheats in online game sin the past. Have you ever used one? Be truthfull now.
Why do I ask this?
Simply, I'm curious.
One of the NS Cheats out there has well over 1000 DLs, so alot of people use it or has used it. Have you?
Even if it was only to see how it works, to detect, have you?

Anyway I tried to use a wallhack in CS but it didn't work cause my computer was too ****. Then I tried an aimbot. It didn't actually aim but it let me see where everyone was (all their info came up too).
I haven't used cheats since because 1) You get banned 2) They suck 3) Ruins the game for everyone else
So plzz don't go putting me on the black list any server ops out there....
Back when I had an on-board vid card with no OpenGL, I wanted to try cheating, see what everybody was ranting about, so I DLed a hack, it did'nt work, same thing happened every time, so finally I had DLed like 20 hacks, and tryed to install them. So a year went by, and then CS Guard was introduced, so I was getting banned left and right for having the files. Eventually I got rid of all the hacks by deleting the file that CS Guard said I was using.
One of the first OpenGL Hacks was the XQZ, which was amzing. It hooked the OpenGL32.dll, and moitored its functions while HL was using it, and aimed at the data it got coming in. Man if the good cheat coders used their skills for 'good' then we would have soom neat things out there <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
Well OGC is the Client Hook, While OGL is the OpenGL Hack.

Well that **** league wasn't the **** league it is today before CAL. Back in my day, OGL Was pretty much the only good league, other than the Iron Fist...
So yah, I had OGC installed for a little while (this so long time ago), spiked models, speed hack, whitewalls, lambert, wallhack, aimbot etc etc etc
the coolest one was that it showed everyone on your radar, it did this by making a map from the 3d audio (amazing piece of work).
Oh the other cool one was it had its own concole, with TAB COMPLEATION! (so sweet <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->)
oh, the other hack I had for a while was the speed hack (yalls remember when that first came out, right?) Basicaly ppl would be at your spawn and have put 5 AWP clips into all of you before you could move <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> Basicaly I found the cheat and just left it on my comp, when ever a speed hacker came it I would warn everyone that I was abought to use it and would then nutralize him, alowing everyone else to have a normal game (I would type kill after I got him)
so yah, I have ussed a good number of them, primarily so that I know just what they would do. My policy was to enter a server and ask if people would be willing to participate in a cheat test (basicaly I tell every one what I am doing so that we all learn how to spot the real cheaters), I was only banned form like 3 servers <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> most of them would either say, ''no don't''(and I wouldn't) or "sure why not"

Someone found a way to change the properties of items in Diablo 1, so they decided to put the most powerful prefix and suffix onto a plate mail and low and behold! Godly Plate of the Whale. Since duping was so easy, many 1000's of copies of the original are present to this very day.
Now there's the ""elite" h4x p4x" setup for most characters:
2 obsidian rings of the zodiac
1 obsidian amulet of the zodiac
1 godly plate of the whale
1 kings sword (2 handed i think) <b>AND/OR</b> staff of Apocalipse with some 50+ charges (1 charge = 1 shot)
1 godly helm of the whale
and a off-the-charts amount of health, mana, and 255 skills.
OH, and potions that heal 9999999 HP + Mana
and i think thats all the items and stuff. Everyone has this on Diablo 1 multi, as duping still isn't fixed; in fact its as bad as Diablo 2 Open Battle.net.
Hence you can see why i never used a cheat <i>in multiplayer</i>; it can completly destroy everyone's fun. all they did was speed up your HL clock, they didn't over clock you CPU lol.
but speed hacks still existed even after the infamus ones were killed, infact 'indetectable' ones existed. Basicaly it would give you quick boosts (that went undetected by all of the programs).
so you could either just let it constantly toggle on/off or you could wire it up to certain keys (like your fire key) so you would hold down fire and every so often your shots would come at 3x speed

Got my self a trainner (name of the cheat proggies), created a char named 'haha you suck' set its lvl at 99, its MP and HP at 10 and all stats at 1. Anyone cheating in my rooms promptly got that slapped on them and then booted (yes, you could alter OTHER peoples chars <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->)
This was generaly reserved for those who came into PK with godmode on, haha yes there is something I can do
Lol, but yeah, theres Aspeed which is used only when you attack, mspeed which is whenever you press a certain key, rspeed when you reload, and speed, which all the time.
The problem was HL Server trys to catch up, so you lag, but now, a few of the Top hackers have No Lag Speed Hacks ( What they really are is Speed Lag Speed Lag Speed Lag in short intervals so you barly notice the lag ).
The only other h4x I use are mods I write for games, mostly single player, or LAN games. I have a strong feeling against using h4x against anyone other than flamerz, grieferz, or other h4xzors. It can be fun... I've thought of writting a program calle Heating Death *not Cheating Death* and have it download the latest h4x, and run a h4x only server, just to get funny SS's and demo's *also so ppl can see how the cheats work, or how to detect them.....*, and also for some fun... not sure if I'm gunna though, or not.

Theres lots of Hax only servers out there. There's an entire Cheating community, with clans that play eachother all with cheats on. Its good to see because most of the clans only play on cheating servers and rarely rage.
