You Wounded?
<div class="IPBDescription">We have a man down!</div> Ah, summerholiday started on saturday and naturally I was partying a bit with my friends. After 10 bottles of beer I had this great idea: "Hey, my friend has a scooter, I should try it out!"
No helmet and no license to drive the damn thing(yes, in finland we need a license to drive practically everything) I started speeding up and down the roads. Luckily it was around midnight and no one else was on the move with a car. Everything went well until I decided to take a shortcut through a sandpath.
Result:
Dislocated my right hand thumb(my mouse hand, noo!)
15cm cut in my thigh
Scratched palms <- It's scratched now! You happy?
Two stitches in my lower back
I walk like a mafioso because I can't bend my left knee. It's a bloody mess.

Just think, flying down a hill
26 miles per hour comming to a DEAD stop after hitting a wall and then being flungout and landing 15 feet away. I couldnt move body for at least a week.
Btw I wasnt in a car. And i wasnt druunk either.

At some point during this walk back to his place, we came upon a building which was in the process of being maintained, and there was scaffolding towering a few stories over the sidewalk. For some insane (and drunken) reason, I decided I was spiderman. I jumped towards one of the support bars for the platform, and then fully expected to grab it, swing a bit, release, and land on my feet. Yeah, hardly impressive to a sober person, but a death-defying and ballsy stunt to an inebriated fool.
What actually happened is not what I had in mind.
My memory from those few seconds is a little sketchy, but I remember jumping towards the scaffolding with my hands ready to grab the bar, then I recall painfully hauling myself up off the unforgiving concrete sidewalk. It turns out I misjudged the distance, missed the bar by a few inches and landed rather painfully on the sidewalk. Ended up with my left knee and right elbow hitting first, then the rest of my body casually crumpled to the ground as I seem to have blacked out just after jumping and had no awareness of the fall.
I was walking with a slight limp for about two weeks, couldn't throw a baseball for about a month even if my life depended on it, was still groggy for a few days afterwards (hit my head during the fall), and tore the knee out of my favorite clubbin' pants. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

I (as usual) decided that I would just go fast, and by fast, I mean fast. Small roads, cliff on the left, rock wall on the right.
When I made the turn on my bike I was going about 40 miles per hour, give or take. Most turns were about 40-50 degrees, easy to negotiate. Well I come around a sharper turn, then you have a hundred feet or so and then its a straight 90+ degree turn. Well, when your going about 40mph downhill on a roadbike on a narrow ride it's remarkbly hard to turn.
I managed to get somewhat around the corner before I smashed into the wall. I did a couple flips (So I was told by spectators) and then smashed my bike into the ground. Right handlebar clipped off cleanly.
Got up, slung the bike on my back and started walking downhill.
About 3 minutes later someone did the same thing, but at a lesser speed. It messed up his post alignment, but he could just put that in place in a second.

Scar beneth my lower lip, I fell as a young child and my teeth went through my chin area.
A 1 inch scar on my left elbow from when I fell just before the 400m sprint finish line (came in 6th), my hip is also scared from that as it my left leg and knee.
Iv got a scar behind my eyebrow and a few in my hair, probably from car boots(split it open a few times cause of em).
