I want to get into mm programming but I want to know if I can do something first. Is it possible to make a plugin that once marines build two arms labs, they can use one for a weapon? Is it even slightly feasable to think that I can make them lose/drop their pistol?

I have absolutely no idea what your first request means... Use one arms lab for a weapon? Like a marine can pick it up and throw it at aliens? or leave it somewhere like a bomb and it explodes?
For the second, it's easy. just make the marine switch to their pistol and then drop it, juts like they do in game... I think the commands are "slot2" followed by "dropweapon"

so does that mean we could then drop HMGs on the arms lab for marines to get once they respawned? Voudl the same be done for the proto lab so that they could get JP/HA as long as the comm "stored" them in there?

Not sure if the menu idea would work with NS's borked message system. But its a better idea than the player discarding weapons till they get the right one.
Also another up-side is the entities of the weapons wouldnt be on the server when the comm does a load out. Would cut down on entities a tad. Another kewl idea would be for it to grab dropped weapons in a small radius of the armslab. (Anyone want thier pistol back?)

Ill grab the source for PhaseEQ, and see what I can do with it on tommorows nightshift.

Dont know enough metamod, theres also not enough information out there for beginners.

Out of curiosity Skitzo, where is the source for this PhaseEQ plugin? Google doesn't turn up anything...
Ill be adding functionallity to it before its released.
