this thread confuses me. Cant we all just get along? The PTers are there for a reason, The veterans are there for a reason, and the members are...um.. well anyway, we all love NS, and making it better is good right? good. lol it seems that the title of "Veteran" has enraged some people into the misconception that they are "the best" group of players in every sense of the word. That's not strictly true, as they've just been chosen from a clan ladder to act as a supporting force in playtesting NS, to ensure that all of the clan tactics are tested, and who better to do it than a number of clans. The clans were picked from the top of the list for a reason, to ensure more or less professional and competitive testing environment. Now this doesn't mean these clans are "the best" in the world, and if you've not been picked for testing it certainly doesn't mean you're worse than these clans. You must realise that this is just a title and the "Veteran" players are those who belong to the chosen clans. They're not the representation of everything flawless and perfect. They're players like you are. If Flayra would go around seeking "the best" players internationally it would take an awfully long time, and you'd rather be playing NS 1.1 before that. I'm not going to be the first to tell you, they aren't the best of the best. Mostly because this game has only been out a little more than a year or even less. Secondly, no we don't have dillusions about Veterans, Flayra says they are the "best NS clans"
Flayra posted in the news that they're the best NS clans, so that they're out to make NS the most competitive game there is. If you notice the way news are written, a certain style is used to instill interest in the subject, so it is all slightly exaggerated to get you excited. ...and all that needs to be said, IMO. Both the Vets and the PTs are doing their jobs well, and that's all you ought to worry about.
