Is There A Way To Put Jetpacks In A Map?

<div class="IPBDescription">like a pointentity</div> Now I need to see how parts of my map feel as a marine. I think it'd be faster if I had a jetpack spawned at each info_playerstart so that I could just jetpack around instead of having to run everywhere...
Does anyone know what the name of the JP entity is, or if its possible to put it in?

    sure you can add it, but at the begining of the first round it'll do a cleaning of all the ents...thus you'll never see it

    It's not currently possible to put any NS items or weapons in maps and no word on when (if) it will be. If you want a jetpack for testing your map just make sure sv_cheats are on and type "give item_jetpack" in console (without the "s of course).

    u could make a trigger so that when activated it drops jps. i was thinking of doing something like this but a room you weld into and when u finally get thru it spawns a few Hmgs and Gls.

    Make sure that such a room is kind of difficult to get into. I'd say three to four welding points that are A) long welds, and B) near heavy traffic areas. At the least make sure that it takes an investment of time and teamwork to get such a thing done... otherwise it would make some serious balance issues.
