I've been introduced to your MOD...Im new but Im wanting to get in dept with the MOD and download it as well. If you guys could help me on what I need to do to get started , I really appreciate.


I have opened my site up and I have added a place for you guys there.. !! I was curious if it would be ok if I place ure link on my site. My site is fairly new, so if you guys have any ideas or suggeastions containing NS on my site, I would be more than gladly to listen..

    I will probaly be adding a section in the Navigator about Natural Selection etc.. Possibly the banner as well. I just need to do my reading etc..     Download the v1.0 full release, and the v1.04 incremental patch to avoid a minor model consistency error.. shell.mdl was forgotten in the v1.0 release, and will trip the model consistency-check on those servers which require it.

    Sorry for the double post(s) guys


    But I going head first in the MOD.. So if you guys like to help me get this MOD started on my site, that would be great.. !! Come to the board and register. I will be doing some editing on the banner etc.. I have someone that inspired me to get this started on the site. Hes a huge fan of NS so.. Hope its ok to post this, I just like to have some great NS players etc. at the board some times to help promote it.

    There is a problem with the shortcut that the NS installer places on your desktop. Your best bet is to delete it, and run NS from the shortcut in the Natural Selection folder off the start menu. Then you won't get the error about having to install NS before you can play a custom game.

    This is a bit divergent, but my eye was caught on the topic page and I was drawn in here. What does "MOD" stand for? I always say "mod", as an abbreviation for "modification", but the all-caps "MOD" implies that it's in fact an acronymn. Anyone want to clue me in?
