If you want to host 1.1 files, I see that as either crazy, or **** at your host, 1.1 will kill many a server...<!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
you could try PMing MonsE when he gets back, he seems to be the lead for that
im under the impression that 600 people will try to download it as soon as it gets out, so it will eat up bandwidth, and they are really looking for good hosts. he should get that email in a couple days, ive also heard that flayra is bombarded by stupid "i want 1.1" emails, so he may have accidentally trashed yours already.
Yea I will PM him. And as I've said before I've got no traffic limit and currently not much use for that server. So let 'em come! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
Generally 'no bandwidth limit' means 'You can think you have no limit... until you take too much... then we melt your house.' so I wouldn't be suprised if you find your mirror blocked within like... an hour.
Just use your server as a huge seed for a bit torrent... that will lighten the load a little <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

For those that want it, I'm on a OS10 line and can host it on Kazaa under a specified name and user and open it up to a bunch of users at once so lots of people can get 1.1 when they want. Bit torrent is http based and open source. The important bit is "http based" because it helps to solve the problem of having a central http/ftp server tha's unable to cope.
