NOTHING.
I'd like to play the game as the devs. have envisioned it *before* commenting. Now, I suspect that this is actually true for a lot of people. I think a lot of people DON'T cry over lerk using its bit, over jumping getting changed or even acid rocket disappearing. I just hope that the devs are as bored as I am with all the people screaming for them to "fix" whetever their particular fancy is, and that the devs aren't actually paying attention.
I look forward to playing 1.1. I haven't played it so I have no idea whether I will miss feature X, since it is basically a whole new game. That is what I look forward to, something new.
Some of the complaints just show a complete lack of understanding of how games work, some are just people that happen to like a certain feature, some are just people being people and complaining/whining at the top of their lungs.
Can we just let the devs. do whatever it is they want to do while we focus on what it is we are supposed to do, play the game. Then maybe when we all have some experience of the new game we can start screaming again.

He's complaining about a specific type of complaining. You really have to start reading posts indepth dude. I hadn't thought the meaning behind this was hard to grasp, nor easy to misinterpret, but obviously I was wrong.
The crux of what he was saying is that you are not a developer, and if you are, you are not the developer of natural selection, so don't complain about all the little changes going on. You probably don't know enough about how and why games work, so do yourself a favour and don't complain about that which you know almost nothing. That is all he is saying, whether you agree or not is up to you.
Removing the bite is something that is fixed in an instant if Flayra wishes it. It's not like it's getting deleted from the code and trashed and rm -rf'd and formatted the HD it was on.
They try new things, playtesting shows it works, let them try it. If it really turns out to be a bummer it can be fixed very very very very easily.
Let them try new things, else we wouldnt have the game we have today.
People should stop complaining about things they havent even tried yet!
But this is not a flame thread, so all I'll say is that I support the dev(s) fully in their venture.
w00p!
but of course well all know in 1.1:
IT'S NOT MEANT TO BE THE SKULKS ATTACKING THE POSITIONS and sensory first is far better than defense first...
Move along guys, moaner discredited
When the changes in 1.04 were announced I had some doubts, which I kept to myself. After actually *playing* it not only were my doubts proved unfounded, but I appreciated the very changes I thought I wouldn't like more then the rest.
It's not like it is going to effect me anyway, I'll be afk working for 3 months while you guys get to play 1.1... now THAT is something worth whining about
