Now, I would think if you're going to be sending out virus e-mails spoofed from support@microsoft.com saying to check the attached file, the <b>least</b> you could do would be... You know, <b><i><u>maybe attach the actual file</u></i></b>? *shakes head sadly* Script kiddies these days.
I'll just sit around waiting for the next e-mail, which will <i>probably</i> look exactly like this:

Maybe you're not looking deep enough into it. Why, if you think about it long and hard... isn't +ALL+ information in the attached file really?

A quick Google check revealed that
.pif files refer to "short-cut to MS-DOS".
It was promptly deleted WITHOUT being ran.
Back to watching Aliens and playing with Visual Basic for me.

You'd be surprised how little I actually get - across 6 POP e-mail addresses and 2 web-based (hotmail and yahoo), I get no more than 2-3 spam e-mails a day... virus e-mails even more rarely.

That's odd, i have one pop3 and one webmail (hotmail) and i get about 50 a day. Can anyone recommend any decent <i>FREE</i> spam blockers for MS OE?
You're really missing out, if i actually emailed any of "those" companies back, i swear, it'd be a mile long by now.
My inbox is so barren. Nobody wubs meh :O

Stuff To Do Today:
O Be cynical
O Play some NS
O Spam Dooms mailbox
I've got about 1,000 various bits of spam in my spam folder right now. I could forward them all to you....
I have two e-mail adresses, other gets spammed to hell and other never gets mail.
and noo dont look into the light!
2. Only give out your email address to people you trust.
3. Don't use hotmail or yahoo.
4. Use a website which forwards all the mail sent to any user@website to you.
5. Use a different email address for each site (for example, registering to freemusic.com, I would use the address freemusic@box8.co.uk. Then, if I ever get spam from them, or spam to that address, I can just block that email account on my website. However, I havnt had to do this step yet, which shows how well steps 1, 2 and 3 work.
My other account has my name in it, and is constantly flooded with spam.
The weird thing is, Mrs Hamster keeps getting the "increase your manliness" spam, and I keep getting "Increase your bust size naturally.."

I've broken rules 3 & 5 and I have never been spammed. Ever. At all.
I've recieved hate mail, but thats a different matter, the other tip is to never subscribe to commercial websites <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
Gamespy is respectable in the matter that they give you a choice, but never click unsubscribe if you get spammed...
And with that, I'll leave you with <a href='http://www2.b3ta.com/realistic-internet-simulator/' target='_blank'>This Realistic Internet Simulator</a>

Edit- If you cant see it:
www34.brinkster.com/sbvhome/virus.JPG
Paste in address bar.
IE-> what appears to be a blank email, could actually be malicious code, designed to deliver a virus to your system.
