    Here's the new version: Added a little thing under the barrel - redid the Pump and added one of those Shell holder thingys.

    What is it with people and Spas 12's, anyways?

    that "shell holder" ont he spas isn't a "shell holder" its the folded stock. So in other words you have 2 stocks on your gun. You just need a clip on the side for extra shells. Anyways i think the model would look great with a spas stock.

    not true in Terminator two near the end when she's shooting the T1000 theres a shell holder ontop of the gun!

    its not meant as a shell holder tho its just so the stock is lighter to even out the weight in your hands. Its a big gun and besides that was a movie.

    I'm gonna have to get rid of the shotgun shells on it, either that or make them lower poly, because it's pushing 2,600 now (with hidden faces not removed).

    I like my high poly cylinders <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    *Jaw drops*

    Okay people! WE NEED MESHERS SKINNERS AND ANIMATORS!! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I'll provide the sounds <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    .... Oh man... I need ANOTHER new pair of pants.
  • BurncycleBurncycle Join Date: 2002-11-24 Member: 9759Members, NS1 Playtester
    By removing most of the hidden faces, and giving some of the cylinders fewer sides, I managed to reduce the polys from ~2,200 to 2,076
    Without the shotgun shells on the side, it's reduced to 1,664, but I kinda like the shotgun shells.

    Anyways, thats about as far as I can go as far as modelling is concerned. I can obviously do some last minute tweaks, but other than that, it's ready for the next step if anyones willing to skin/animate etc.

    A simple quistion:

    Where does the shells/bullets go?

    (I mean, how does he reload that *wordless* mofo ?) <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

    /* - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

    BtW: U could reduce a couple of polies by simplifyin/removing
    the screws and the bullet-fire-selector, cuz those things are easily
    made (even beautifully) with a good skin... Ok?

    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - */

    Well that's better...

    Those holes on the stock can be skinned on.

    IcELoRD speaks the truth. Small details like screws can be skinned on.

    And I can't tell how complex those shells are in the screenshot, but if you origin it right, you can get away with six-sided cylinders on those.

    I'll get right on it, thanks <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
    As for where do you put the shells.... I guess someone will just have to skin a hole in the bottom <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> somewhere near the back of the slide spot in front of the trigger....
  • BurncycleBurncycle Join Date: 2002-11-24 Member: 9759Members, NS1 Playtester
    here it is. Removed the holes in the stock, removed screws and safety switch, and reduced shotgun shells from 8 to 6 sides. ~1,400 polys
    Thanks for the help <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
