Personaly I dont think MvM maps would be all that fun, it doesn't have the depth of gameplay that the MvA games have. MvM maps wouldn't have as much strategy as the ones that we have right now. Sure it would take some, but without major differnces in the teams its just like any other HL mod.

There would be no differences. If you want to play MvM, i suggest you go and play TFC.

Marine vs Marine games would be perfectly balanced, on the difficulties of makinga MvsM game I wouldn't be surprised if you can do it now (just make a map with 2 teams each one marines (although i've never mapped for ns)).

Would be interested if someone could confirm or deny this?

I think it was stated in the 1.0 release that there was support for it but no maps, however if this were true youre right there would be maps with this gimmick. Oh the confusion.

This was never planed for 1.1 and i don't know where you all seem to have heard it. Last i heard it was a remote possibility for a 2.0 release WAY in the future. Don't be hopefull for it any time soon.

Yeah I know it would be so like CS. I mean you would have to build, and use RTS strategy, and tech up just like in CS. Oh wait CS doesn't have any of that. Do you think people thought "Omg Terran versus Terran? Blizzard is a bunch of morons for doing that. It's just like Command & Conquer. How lame." No, they didn't. End of discussion please.
