Primal scream a lerk ability?
I don't think it would be quite as convincing coming from the tiny lerk than it was coming from the mighty onos.
OMI Leave it with the onos.
O Primal scream now makes affected aliens scream back in defiance.
That's one of the coolest things in the changelog!

(just kidding)
or is it a diff sound?
Ooh now THAT is cool. Can you make the screams randomly delayed a little so that the aliens don't scream back in unison but instead stagger the screaming a little little?
*SPOILER*
Kinda like the lion king at the end when Simba roared at the pride and they did a big long roar thing back at him. That scene would have just been plain odd if the lionesses all made one single massive roar in unison...

Ok soz, couldn't resist doing it like that lol...

I personally don't mind, the lerk will have a more supporting role like a welder for the marines. I enjoy playing lerk and pestering the marines, its so much more fun to pester them than to kill them.
Kill one marine and getting shot as a skulk makes them sweat, pester them when they dont know where you are keeps them busy 10x as much <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
Long live the lerk!
Primal Scream boost's your energy charge, your running speed and you can hit about twice as fast.
It also affects all aliens who are near the onos, when he uses it.
I would be disappointed if all the alien species' 'counter-screams' sounded the same.
Ps they should make it so they all go weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! instead for comedy value <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

Exactly what I'm wondering...
And ME
Comparing a lerk to a welder is now in the "TOP TEN COMPARISONS OF THE DAY"
hehe
SWACKKKK SSWWWWWACKK!
but i do like it on the lerk, its very fitting for the support role. Plus it will make his spike o so much faster. I loved it when onos did it and i was a lerk. it ment almost insta deathj for a marine.
hahaha <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
Marines enter...
*Primal scream, and roars back in defiance*
"****! ****, why just NOW?"

Will you still 'scream back in defiance' when cloaked?
The lerk is a support unit while the ONOS is a tank. This change just confirms it.
.... or silenced
I expect the lerk to have a screech instead of a roar. A cool effect I'd like to see implemented (probably not going to happen though) is that any marines near the screech/primal scream are temporarily deafened for a few seconds. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
The screech is the last thing they hear for 10 seconds or so.
