<div class="IPBDescription">how to get the best outta your pray</div> I have found in the games of ns that i have played, when <!--emo&::skulk::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/skulk.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='skulk.gif'><!--endemo--> , the eaiest way to bit the marines is right in the ****. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

I know i might sound a bit odd but when running at a marine, i first jump over him the get at him from behind, this work very well without and chambers. It is also great fun to do, and to wacth <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

...You mean attack from the back? I can't speak for the rest of the people who play NS, but I thought that was common knowledge.

no not just frim behing, but like instead of going all frontal when you are facing them, run at them jump over them and eat their left bottock

...Still seems like a whole lot of extra work to me. The time you spend running around the marine could be spent biting him 2 or 3 more times.

Normally i bite upwards, towards the ****, if im on the ground. Its alot easier to hit there then shins/ankles.

Maybe he means to jump around the marines are bite, so it's harder for them to kill you...but then again why would anyone run directly straight AT the marine only to jump behind him. I'm pretty sure he'll shoot and kill you before you even have a chance to do fancy acrobatics in the air...or maybe that's his plan...jump and do fancy tricks so the marine would be so confused that he won't even try to shoot. That sounds logical...not really...

The reason you run at him is beacuse he thinks that you are coming from him at the front, only for you to baffal him by jumping over him and biting a few times at his rear

...once again...wouldn't he just riddle you with bullets as you ran up to him straight on, not even giving you a chance to jump and bite? Is anyone else extremely confused by this "strategy"?

maybe i didnt explain it the best way, okay you can either:

1 go from the front and die(give gorg res)

2 run at him jumping and maybe get a few bites in and die ( " " ")

3 run jumping over him bite maybe kill, maybe die ( " " ")

i believe its just a lot easier to:

    A. Sneak attack from ceilings and bite in back.
    B. Dodge all over while running at rines thus gaining distance and then bite when you know you can hit (dont wanna waste energy)
    C. Parasite to death <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&::skulk::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/skulk.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='skulk.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&::skulk::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/skulk.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='skulk.gif'><!--endemo--> (para) <!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='asrifle.gif'><!--endemo--> "WHERS IT COMING FROM"

Yeah, parasite deals damage. I believe it's around 10 damage, but armor cancels a bit of it. Usually, after a good battle where you're sure you got some bites, a parasite can finish them off.

it does 7 damage, redone in 1.04 (it used to be 10)

personally, all marines seem to look up now....I hide on the floor

it's still 10 damage I'm sure, because it does 7 thru regular armor.

I always go for the 'krotch kill'

I also find (for some strange, ironic reason) that a quick movement backwards after the bite triggers numerous kills. Maybe it's the movement in the middle of the attack. I've also seen others do this. Anyone else experienced this?

I think that you dont actually kill if you bite right next to the marine, only a few inches away...

    And jumping over him? what?!?
